In a heart-wrenching video shared on Facebook, Bushira Sangpograwwo Abass, a distraught agripreneur, broke down in tears as she recounted the destruction of her crops worth GHS200,000 by a bulldozer. The farm was allegedly razed, with the residue dumped at one end and damaged crops scattered on the ground.

In another video, the young woman appeared helpless while crying and a male voice interacting with a man believed to be one of the operators. The man was heard condemning the act and instructing the supposed operator to trace his colleague who caused the devastation to the pineapple farm.

With no academic background in agriculture, Bushira’s deep engagement and success in agriculture leaves many admiring resilience in the sector.

Meanwhile, Ghanaians are calling for justice for Bushira Abass. The incident has also caught the attention of the Deputy Agric Minister, John Dumelo where he posted on X(Twitter) to intervene.
