    Youth Empowerment For Change

Lessons on agricgate.farm are featured in four languages; English, French, Hausa and Twi while trainees interested in hands-on training also have the opportunity to be nurtured.
“Agricgate is poised to become the go-to destination for all things agriculture-related”, Felix Appiah remarked.
The innovative agribusiness website targets individuals, the youth, corporate organizations involved in agriculture, and government agencies in West African countries.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, Yaw Frimpong Addo while commending the team behind the innovative platform, said it has the potential to offer a pathway to meaningful employment, economic empowerment, and community development by democratizing access to agricultural knowledge and resources.
He said the Ministry will collaborate with Agricgate to reach a larger audience to ensure maximum benefits. “Involving students from the SHS level to learn on the platform is also very important to whip up their interest in the sector from that level,” he said during an address at the launch of the website in Accra.
Mr Frimpong proposed organizing a program in parliament for the founders, Felix and the team to showcase the program to other Members of Parliament (MPs) who will later organize the youth from the constituencies to participate in the training program on the agricgate platform.
The agricgate.farm’s partner organizations are Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Christian University College, Trisolace Farms, Tia Unity Farms, Odell Farms and Ypard Ghana.
